WLC and Prime Infrastructure

So I know have a problem regarding the access-points. Prime Infrastructure is reporting interfaces shutting down.

In my WLC all AP's are joined. What could those missing AP's be?

"Prime Infrastructure is reporting interfaces shutting down." - an interface down is not the same as an AP down.  A dual band AP generally has at least 3 interfaces - 1 LAN and 2 radio.  What interface is down on what device?  Could be that 2.4G radio interface is shutdown on some APs because you have FRA enabled for example.

Required more investigation, as per the AP it was down, WLC should see also down.

Why this was still associated with WLC ? required to clarify more informatonm is this really exists ? or showing wrong informaiton ?

You do need to add more information. What you should do is verify that Prime Infrastructure and the WLC are on compatible code trains by using the compatibility matrix:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html#pgfId-148410
Make sure that your aps are supported on the version of Prime Infrastructure you are running. You should find a link in the “Help” icon on the top right of the UI. Then you should also copy the error you see and search it up on the bug toolkit or on the internet for more information.

Oh yeah, you absolutely right. Here are two examples,

"802.11a/b/g/n/ac interface of AP [hostname-xxx] is down"

"802.11a/n interface of AP [hostname-xxx] is down"

if you still see the Aps admin status is up in the wlc, then try to resync your wlc in the prime infra.
