WLC autentication 802.1x Windows

Hola,

Tengo un WLC 2504 versión 8.1.131.0 con configuración 802.1x para la autenticación, pero he notado que los moviles se conectan automaticamente al SSID pero todos los equipos windows no se conectan automaticamente, si no que cada vez que quiero conectarme tengo que ingresar usuario/contraseña y esto es molesto para los usuarios.

A que se debe este problema y como puedo solucionarlo.

This can be configured manually in Windows or centrally via Group Policy.

There is an option to automatically connect to the network when in range (even if not broadcasting).

There is also an option to automatically use my windows credentials.

You need to enable these options within the wireless configuration for the relevant SSID (along with other options including authentication etc).

You may want to choose user only or user and computer authentication too.
