WLC HA SSO - Questions

Hello,

I have some questions regarding the WLC HA SSO which I would like to clarify:

I have two WLC 2504 running HA SSO. I have read that HA SSO is not (or was not) supported for WLC 2504 but I thik this was before and now I can configure HA SSO on WLC 2504 since version 8.0, right?

I am trying to find useful guides to know how exactly SSO works but I cannot find anything regarding HA SSO behavior in some circumstances. For example, what happens if the Active controller interface for a SSID gets down? The Standby Controller becomes Active with the same interface IP address, right?

Thank you very much.

Best Regards.

2504 will not support SSO in any version.
2504 can still support the "regular" switch over of APs using the primary/secondary/tertiary controller.

Here is the WLC HA deployment guide for SSO:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-7/High_Availability_DG.html#pgfId-46844

And the deployment guide on HA in general:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-5/config-guide/b_cg85/high_availability.html

SSO the boxes are seen as a single WLC.
