My customer has a 5520 WLC running 8.10.112.0 with currently 160 x 2802i APs connected in flex connect mode, across multiple sites. Each of the sites has their APs in their own AP group.
There are only three SSIDs configured on the WLC and these are being broadcast to all the AP groups, there are no APs left in the default group.
When I run a "show client summary ssid devicetype" from the cli, some clients are showing as being in an idle state but connected to a unknown "mesh_ssid". I have checked the APs in question and they are in the correct AP groups based on their site. The mesh_ssid is also not configured on the WLC.
Does anybody know where this unknown "mesh_ssid" comes from and how to stop clients apparently connecting to it?
