The 871 router does not support Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP).
Though there are other ISR routers which supports LWAPP, which are 2800 and 3800 ISRs.
It is important to know that in regards to the WLAN controller module, the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller module supports Cisco 2800/3800 Series integrated services routers, as well as Cisco 3700 Series routers. Cisco 2600 Series and 2600XM Series routers are not supported, nor are Cisco 2801 routers, which do not have network module slots. The WLAN Controller Module is supported only in network module slots. It is not supported in EVM slots available in the Cisco 2821 and Cisco 2851 ISRs.
The Cisco WLAN Controller Module is supported on these router platforms:
Cisco 3725 and 3745 Routers
Cisco 2811, 2821, and 2851 ISRs
Cisco 3825 and 3845 ISRs
