The jobs stored in the Wireless LAN Solution Engine are lost after not using them for a few weeks

Core Issue

If you have done any date changes in the CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE) appliance, that can cause the jobs to get older by 180 days.

WLSE has a background process to delete configuration and firmware jobs, which are older than 180 days. You cannot stop WLSE by any way from the deletion of these jobs over 180 days old as this is not a user configurable value. It is maintained internally by WLSE.

WLSE does not delete scheduled or recurring jobs. It deletes jobs, which have been stale for the past 180 days. In order to retain a job, you need to configure a job that is scheduled to run after six months. Thus in the intermediate period, you can edit and rerun the job as and when required. Reconfigure the schedule to run after six months after the interim usage.

Note: Only the jobs get deleted. Configuration and Firmware Templates are still retained. You can easily rebuild the job from these templates.
