Core Issue

Approximately 400 MAC address were already configured and then there was an attempt to configure more with the use of the graphical user interface (GUI).

Resolution

Use the Command Line Interface (CLI) in order to configure up to 2,048 MAC addresses to filter. With the use of the web-browser interface, however, you can configure only up to 43 MAC addresses to filter. Refer to Configuring and Enabling MAC Address Filters section of Configuring Filters for more information.

There is a limit on the length of the command that can be sent from the web to the access point (AP). When you use the web GUI, the maximum number of MAC addresses configured to filter is 43. This limitation does not exist when you configure the AP through the CLI, in which case 2048 MAC addresses is the maximum.

Refer to Configuring Filters for more information on MAC address filtering.
