Wireless clients are not obtaining an IP address with MIC enabled

Core Issue

With Message Integrity Check (MIC) enabled, the wireless clients are not able to get an IP address from a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server.

Resolution

To address this problem, perform the following steps:

  1. Reset the unit to factory defaults, and use only one Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) key with MIC.
  2. Upgrade the Access Point (AP) firmware to the latest version.
