Introduction
Cisco Aironet Building-to-Building Wireless Solutions International Power Compliance Chart
Core Issue
Need assistance locating the Cisco Aironet Wireless Bridge international power standards.
Resolution
It is important to Cisco Systems that its resellers comply with and recognize all applicable regulations placed on the wireless networking industry. Regulation agencies across the globe have created wireless power standards that consumers must maintain. These power standards are based on the relationship between power output and antenna application. In an effort to assist consumers in meeting all outlined regulations in their area, Cisco Systems has created this power compliance chart for its Cisco Aironet wireless bridge. This chart is for convenience purposes only. Please check with your local regulatory agency.
The chart comprises countries listed in alphabetical order. The wattage power settings are in the left column of the chart. Across the top of the chart the antenna power is listed in dBi gain. Compliance can be assured with four easy steps:
1.
Find your country on the chart. (Countries are listed in alphabetical order.)
2.
Find the power output of your wireless bridge. (See left column and consult reference manuals.)
3.
Find the dBi gain of your antenna. (Reference the top row.)
4.
Cross-reference your power output with your dBi gain. If you find an X, you are compliant.
