IP messenger not working on cisco wlc network

Hi All,

I am having one issue with IP messenger it's not working on Cisco 2504 WLC. But be-four it's working fine on Linksys access point. IP sachem also same gateway & all IP configuration same on Linksys & Cisco WLC. I am not understand what is issue.

 

Need your help ASAP.

Hi Rahul,

 

You need to make following changes:

 

  1. WIRELESS => Application Visibility And Control => AVC Profiles

Under AVC Profiles add a new role for Ip-messenger with Application Group Name : other, Action: mark, Direction: Downstream

 

  1. WLANS => QoS.

Under QoS, QoS: Silver (best effort), Application Visibility : Enabled, AVC Profile: (Select AVC Profile), Netflow Monitor : none, WMM Policy : Allowed.

 

  1. CONTROLLER => Broadcast Forwarding : Enabled
