Hi,

From the look on your first screenshot you dont have any APs. Is there a DHCP server on the Vlan you connected the AP? Also is the IP 192.168.1.40 on that subnet?

The controller and AP needs to be in the same subnet and if you dont specify a static IP on the AP module (not controller module) a dhcp server needs to be available on the vlan. This is the nativ vlan if you have the AP on a trunk port.

regards,
Jonas

This is a bit strange if the AP can't join itself (ME)
There is a possibility that you set the IP address of the ME and AP to be the same.

The following commands will help you analyze the problem.

apciscoshell

show ip int brief

debug capwap client events
