3502e won't join 5508 controller

I have two 3502e's that won't join our 5508 controller. We have rolled out about 600 APs, a few on this switch (4507) as well. We have plenty of power, plenty of licenses, etc. The only thing that sets these particular APs apart is that they were SMRs. They came back to us with 7.4 loaded, while we are running 7.0.220. That is the only difference between these APs and others that work fine. Would APs loaded with 7.4 join a controller running 7.0.220? Any other thoughts? Thanks for any input!

Only two APs out of 600? 

Console into the AP and reboot the AP.  Post the entire bootup sequence.

yes only two APs... and they happen to be the two APs that were shipped recently from SMRs. I will post the log ASAP, they are somewhat tough to get to.

Welp, thanks for your help. I was able to find them, they landed on a controller in a far away land. Sometimes they have a mind of their own I tell ya. Happy new year!
