802.1x supplicant support for 3800 APs

It has been discovered that 802.1x supplicant feature is not supported in the 3800 model.  We are running wired ISE and attempting to switch VLANs which will not work with MAB.  So we will need to hard set the ports for specific APs.  Can anyone tell me if this is a feature that is going to be added to the 3800 model in the future?

You should talk to your Cisco sales team for more information on this topic. As a workaround you can also go with MAB if that is currently supported within your security policy and in your switchport template.

Per Cisco:  This is slated for 4th Qtr. in the 8.6 release.
