AP onboarding/provision/deploy

Hi,

I noticed that Cisco Prime Infrastructure 3.x has a feature called AP Onboarding, but it looks like it is only compatible with ME controllers.  

I am looking to provision/deploy a bunch of new AP's for a project. 

My setup:

WLC: 8540-HA - 8.5.140

AP's: 3802i AP's

Prime Infrastructure: 3.7.1

DNAC version: 2.1

Instead of manually configuring access points one by one, what would be the easiest way to bulk provision these devices along with AP name.  I do have the ethernet MAC/SN of all the 3802 AP's.

Easiest way is to build a script like on excel and copy paste to the controller. What I do is scan the sn and MAC address to a spreadsheet and asset tag. Then I populate the hostname of the ap and build a formula to use the MAC address to define the hostname. You can also add ap groups, etc.
