Hello experts,

We were looking for a way to blacklist some websites like porn and bad sites...

Is is possible to create a blacklist on the WLC ? To say to the WLC "you need to block the access to this site" ?

Or do we have to create an ACL ?

It would be to filter the Guest access, do you have any ideas ?

Regards,

AL.

what do you mean ? Where can I do that ?

Use a proxy server.

A WLC is a dumb switch.  It is NOT designed to be a content filter.  I can't see anything on the upper-layer protocol.

Like the others mentioned, you either have to setup a proxy server on your own or purchase an appliance like Cisco's Ironport that is a content filter. There are many others out there like Wensense, Bluecoat, etc that does this specifically.
