I used WLC 5520 for our customer and he want to use the captive portal for guest user. i choosed the customized one
When the user connects to WiFi, at the level of the captive portal he should fill in these two fields that are name and email address then click on "I accept the terms and conditions".
It happens that the user does not fill any of these two fields and he accesses WiFi, If we choose Passthrough( layer 3 security in WLAN) : we access without writing anything, we click on I accept the conditions and we are connected.
But if we choose Authentication: access is denied because the identifiers are not in any database.
The question is user information saved somewhere? because the customer wants to retrieve this information.
What is the best method?
