Dear Experts,
I have a requirement from one of our customer to upgrade an existing Cisco Wireless Control System 7.0 to Cisco Prime Infrastructure 3.1. I would like to request for some guidance or reference to any Cisco document for the upgrade procedure (Step by Step). I tried to search on-line but I am getting confused with various opinions.
Any help/guidance will be highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kind regards,
Ahmed

Refer the document :Upgrade Guide for WCS 7.0 to Prime 3.0

As I understood:
1. Install NCS 1.1.1.24
2. Export WCS data and migrate to NCS
3. Inline upgrade NCS 1.1.1.24 -> PI 1.4.x
4. Perform clean install of PI 3.0
5. Restore application backup from PI 1.4.x on the PI 3.0 system
So in short the WCS cannot be directly upgraded to Prime Infrastructure, only the data can be exported by using NCS?

Ahmed
