Hi all. Is there a way to get the configuration of a WLC through the CLI similar to that of what you'd get from Cisco IOS? So far I've tried
config paging disable
show running-config
and
show run-config
but the output doesn't look like that of what you could cut/paste like IOS.
Thanks for all input.

Hi
This is the command you have to run
(5508-1) >show run-config commands
If you want to take the backup & restore that to a different WLC, then you have to follow the method given below.

Thanks for the replies. Manannalage i got the CLI way and was able to get a backup of the controller through its GUI.
aflander, I always wondered if the output could be used, being so bulky. In the past it has helped me for configuring a similar wlan. anyways, thanks.

The output you are seeing is the configuration of the controller and every AP attached to it. If your WLC is managing it then generally that information is useless. I myself have never restored a controllers with a config.
IOS is completely different but the commands are somewhat the same.
