Controller WLC 5520 with ISE 1.2 - compatibility

Hi,

Will WLC 5520 running software 8.1.131 work with ISE version 1.2? Anyone has experience running that?

Hi

I've not tested it as ISE 1.2 is a very old version.

However, as related on this document below, the incompatibility is more due to AireOS version than WLC hardware itself. If you look on table 4 of this document, you will see that ISE 1.2 works with all WLCs until version 8.0.13x.

WLC 5520 initial support from 8.1.x supports ISE 1.3 onwards.

WLC SW version 8.1.131.0 supported on ISE version 1.3 on-wards.
