I need to configure EAP-FAST without certificate and authenticate to the corporate Microsoft AD database, Do I need a Cisco ACS server in the middle to forward the authentication to the AD? Or I can do the authentication to the AD directly?
I am using a WLC5508
Thanks

You need ACS.

Thanks for the answer, do you know if there is a recent ''Configuration guide'' document that explain the whole system configuration components? ACS, AD and WLC.
Thanks

You need to look at the separate config guides, ACS and WLC. There is no big "config example" including everything.

Hi
You can use Microsoft IAS on a domain server etc to provide a radius server.
This will allow you to authenticate users against AD.
This is the solution we are using. We have no ACS.
Hope this helps.
