earmuff in block out noises

Hi All,

We were told that in a busy Public  Wifi signal environments , in order to block out 

interference from other APs, we could config our wifi AP to listen to its own signals only instead of others

ie similiar to human wear a earmuffs to block out unwanted noise.

Apart from setting the AP's power to low - what are other settings we can do to the AP to 

block out unwanted noises from the neighbour ?

Any advice are much appreciated.

Peter,

RX-SOP is like putting on headphones but it’s only RX. Your devices will still hear all the TX and utilization will still be high. RX-SOP basically doesn’t respond to anything below the limit set.
