Hi Team,

We are getting problem only with HP ProBook 4440s laptop when try to connect on wireless through 1142 access point. As the same time if we try to connect from 1252 access point it connecting. Both AP is connected with same WLC. Also we are trying through same SSID on both AP.

Can anyone please check and let me know why we are facing issue.

Regards,

Sunil

Sunil,

First try to update the laptop wireless driver to the most recent and then test again. After testing and if you still have issue, post the show WLAN

Have you upgraded the Wireless NIC firmware?

Did you try with OPEN authentication?

Did you disable Aironet IE?

Hi leolaohoo,

Sorry for jumping in! How do you "disable Aironet IE" ?

Regards,

m/

You don't disable Aironet IE on the clients.  You disable Aironet IE on the AP or WLC.

Hi leolaohoo,

We checked the drivers its updated.

We are able to connect when AP is assosiated with WLC A and its having Aironet IE enable. But when the AP is assosiated with WLC B in which Aironet IE is disable we are facing issue. So now we enable Aironet IE enable on WLC B its not working.

debug client < mac address of the client > on the controller please

Can you try with OPEN authentication?

Are your APs in different AP groups?
