If I add a MAC address on WAP for authentication...

If i want to associate a handheld computer (tablet pc) on ONE wap by adding the MAC address on the Cisco Wap, what do i need to do to the computer to help it get online?

I added the MAC address under local list, but it still wont connect. Is there a configuration i need to add on the computer as well?

or do i need to go under MAC ADDRESS FILTERS?

MAC address filters allow or disallow the forwarding of unicast and multicast packets either sent from or addressed to specific MAC addresses. You can create a filter that passes traffic to all MAC addresses except those you specify, or you can create a filter that blocks traffic to all MAC addresses except those you specify.
