How long will a LAP configured for HREAP/Flexconnect mode stay in HREAP/Flexconnect mode.

Are there any configuartion changes that can be made to limit a HREAP/Flexconnect LAPs configuarion availability before it must be re-associated to a WLC?
//when the hreap ap moves to different/new wlc that doesn't have similar config like where it moved from wlc then it'll get default config from that new wlc.
