Hi All,

i have sql DB with the allowed mac address clients.

is there a way to interact between the DB and the mac address filtering system of the controller or the WCS.

i know that it can be done via the ACS, but it's too complicated.

any ideas?

thanks

Ami

Hi,

I do not think we can directly integrate DB with WLC.. This is possible using both WLC and the WCS..

from the WCS its SECURITY >> AAA >> MAC FILTERING.

From the WLC its the same SECURITY >> AAA >> MAC FILTERING. + Assigning the same to the WLAN.. You can even copy and paste the same on the WLC CLI as well..

I guess this is the easiest!!

lemme know if this answered your question..

Hi,

you didn't understand me correctly.

i want to create web page for our support team that they will be able to insert mac-address to all wireless controller filter list in one click.

the question is if i can point the controller / wcs / Ap's to external mac-address DB.

thanks

Ami
