Mesh AP 1562E unable to set VLAN Support

Friends,

We try to change the mode of mesh AP to support multiple VLANs and so try to change the GigabitEthernet0 from Access mode to Trunk mode without results.

WLC 5520 ver. 8.4.100.0
AP1562E RAP and MAP.

We tracking this bug: CSCva63310 and say: "...Known Fixed Releases: 8.4(100.0)" but not in our case...

Any ideas about this issue? We need open a TAC case?

Regards.

Hi,

I recommend you to read this guide line, specially VLAN tagging part. I have a feeling that you are doing something wrong.

Thanks Flavio.

We disable "Vlan transparent" en Global mesh configuration and now we can change the mode.

Hi Experts.
We are currently proposing AP1562E but 2 of them will work in mesh mode,
We have a WLC 5508 with version 8.5.131, within this version of code does it support the configuration of Mesh? Have a Master and the other Access Point take a sign of this?

Anyone know anything about it.

Regards.

Carlos P.
