NCS 1.1.3.2 to Prime 2.0 Upgrade

Hello.

We are currently running the below version of NCS.

1.1.3.2 (Jan. 31, 2013 - rev 74151)

VUDI: Prime-NCS-VAPL:...

Type permanant

Device limit 625

- I would like confirmation from Cisco that we are allowed to upgrade this to Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.0.

- Also, if we do an inplace upgrade, I’d like to know if it would install as Prime Infrastructure Express, Standard, or Pro.  I’m not able to see what scaling size our NCS is today

Thank you

NCS software is packaged with your  physical appliance, can be downloaded as an image for installation, or  can be downloaded as a software image to run as a virtual appliance on a  customer-supplied server.

Please check the below link which can helpful for you in  understanding and configuration NCS to Cisco Prime Migration

Hi ,

I am in a same boat ,

We are exactly running the same version 1.1.3.2 (Jan. 31, 2013 - rev 74151)  Have you done the upgrade ?

It is strongly recommended best practice is to use “database restore” instead of an “in-line upgrade.”
