Poor performance when switching to ipv6 as CAPWAP mode

Hi,

I want to switch from ipv4 (I have nearly no IP addresses left for my aps) to IPv6 for the CAPWAP connection between the APs and the WLCs.

I have three 5520 WLCs with 8.5.120.0. Each has two Uplinks connected as a LAG. So I only have one management interface with ipv4 and ipv6 (dynamic AP management).

I can switch the preferred mode to IPv6 and everything is still working but slows down extremely. It is not possible to work with the wlan connections any more. Speeds from 2 to 3 mbit/s are the maximum. This happens also on my test 5520 wlc with one ap and only one client connected.

We use DHCPv6. My Nexus has the following config:

=

interface Vlan792
description WLAN_Infra_APs_792
no shutdown
ipv6 address xxxx:xxx:xxx:xxxx::2/64
ipv6 nd managed-config-flag
ipv6 nd ns-interval 5000
ipv6 nd reachable-time 900000
ipv6 nd prefix xxxx:xxx:xxx:xxxx::/64
ipv6 router ospfv3 14 area 0.0.0.1
hsrp version 2
hsrp 792 ipv6
authentication text XXXXXXXX
preempt
ip xxxx:xxx:xxx:xxxx::1
ipv6 dhcp relay address xxxx:xxx:xxx:xxxx::1000

=

Here is the output of my test ap:

=

(Cisco Controller) >show ap config general lw-3404-flo

The network should have a /64 prefix length... But I found some notes and websites were this seems to be normal and ok for dhcpv6.

Do you have any idea? Is my ipv6 config no the nexus correct for stateful dhcpv6?
