I have a customer that will install some units of AP350 and PSC Falcon 335 Cisco Radio (Data Capture). The question is:

The customer wants to avoid that someone using a notebook (for instance) and a card radio can access the network without permission. What we need to do to allow just that Falcon 335 Cisco access the AP network?

Does Falcon do WEP and EAP ? Then you can be sure. I’ve never heard of the Falcon product.

In regards to using the PSC with a 350 ap. We use the LXE branded PSC rf gun (dos based with 340 cards) with 350 access points. We had many problems with lockups and disconnects from the host. We ended up having to disable PSP and maxpowersave mode for it to work, but we sacrificed 2-4 hours of battery life.
