Hi All,

Need your help.

I have configured Notification receiver on CIsco prime tool for sending traps to other Monitoring device. I am not getting those traps on other monitoring device. Can you please suggest, how to check on CIsco Prime tool, that we are sending traps.

Hi

That´s easy. Log in the Cisco Prime using cli. Use  the shell commando to get on the OS command line.

Use tcpdump:

 tcpdump -Z root  -s0 -i eth0 port 162 | grep "Destination IP"

While applying tcp dump, is it going to flood traffic if yes, how to stop this tcp dump or its automatically happens

Ia m not getting anything by applying ade # tcpdump ?
tcpdump: no suitable device found

 Type "sudo su" first.

You need to be super user .
