Hello,

I need a help.

I configed 3504 to HA

If HA completed, the manament ip will be one ip address.

I have a SNMP collect server. the snmp server will add wlc ip address.

which ip address should i do? (When HA is complete, the snmp  is not active from service port ip)

I'd like to collect snmp information from each wlc (Active and Standby)

- You need to use the management IP of the primary. You can snmp  query it as to whether it is the primary node in the HA environment.  I usually combine this with checking it's serial number in my monitoring system. Both parameters will tell me if there has been a takeover (or other abnormal conditions). You can not monitor starts from the standby node in a HA environment.

But there are lost of stats which  can be obtained from the Primary node ; below is an example.

Thank you for your answer.
So, can not I get the cpu, memory, and interface status values of the standby WLC?

I don't know, but you can try with the management standby ip address. You either get a reply with data or not :)

The available information is limited and depending on the version of code, but it it correct that you need to use the management IP of the active HA-SSO unit to request information about the standby HA-SSO unit. More information can be found here. For the bigger appliances, based on UCS hardware, we normally use the CIMC interfaces to gather more information.
