I have a quick question for the forum members. I am building a network with lots of guest traffic. I would like to have a captive portal layer 3 security with a customized website loaded on the 9800-40 for guest user Authentication.
I am searching for limitations of the number of connections / traffic that the captive portal / controller can handle and I am not able to find anything.
My environment should be able to handle 10,000 requests for guest users. Has anyone come across any issues with hosting the customized captive portal on the WLAN controller? (9800-40).
I am not using on my architecture a separate DMZ WLAN controller. I simply have 2 9800-40's in HA mode.
Any help recommendation would be sincerely appreciated.
