Wireless to detect and alert on unauthorized wireless access points

Is it possible for the Wireless AP or WLC to detect and alert on unauthorized wireless access points ?

The feature you are looking for is named "rouge detection" and is probably available on every advanced wireless system today. Cisco WLCs and Cisco Meraki APs are capable of doing that.
