WLC 5520 serial console stuck

I have a WLC 5520 with 8.2.170.0 that I planned to upgrade to 8.5.151.0 this weekend. I discovered that I get no reply from the console port. The WLC is in a HA environment and the backup I have serial console access.

I can ssh in to both WLC and WebGUI no issue.

Is there a way to find out/reset the serial console port without rebooting the primary WLC ?

 - If the HA is completely functional I see no reason to not reboot the primary as an attempt to get the console going ; there should be no impact.

You attached the console cable to the Active unit? If I remember correctly, console access is by default only possible on the Active box, not the Standby one.
