WLC 8540 not sending netflow data ..worked on our WISM2 easy

We are kinda puzzled by this as we just retired our WISM2 for the 8540's and it has been pretty flawless. we did not roll the config from the old to the new as we didn't want any legacy bits (buttons) pushed that we weren't aware of..

Notes:

* Equipment is all in the same vlan as before ... solarwinds, Prime, WLC 

* WLC shows the AVC working ..can ealsy pick a client(s) and see the applications etc..

* WLC Software Version 8.5.140.0

Our WISM'2 did netflow to our Solarwinds just fine but now nothing arrives from the 8540?

We have run WISM's since they first came out ...we are puzzled

Did you check you have configured "Netflow Exporter" & "Netflow Monitor" correctly on 8540. Also WLAN is configured with AVC profile ?

as you WiSM and Soilarwinds are operating for some time,

Check if your Solarwinds version is compatible with the netflow version of the 8540?

Check you do not allready have configured netflow to send to Cisco Prime

Yeap, we have beside myself three others that have yrs of WLC experience.. at this point it appear the flows are not exiting the 8540 according to Wireshark ... traps and syslog arrives on Prime with no problems

If it is a 8540-HA setup, do a fail-over & see if that makes any difference.
