4410 N access point bridge mode

HI,

we have 4 access points in my network i want configure 1 is ap mode another 3 is bridge mode Is it possible to configure in 4410 N ?

if i configure bridge mode can i use single SSID&Securtiy key for all aps. plz give me a best solutions. how to i use these 4 access points

Raja,

Yes, you can set these up in bridge mode with one in access point mode.

Make sure the ssid's/channels/security are the same on all the devices.

Then on the bridges and go to tab ap mode/client/repeater mode.  At this point make sure they are locking in on the wireless mac-address of the access point.  You can do a site survey or put the information in the bridge manually.  The wireless mac-address you can find that under the wireless tab at the top of the screen.  It is typically one digit off from the physical mac-address of the unit.

If there is an option under the access point to lock in the mac-address of the bridge, then put the information there.

Once you have both units, looking at each other, you should be able to ping the bridge wirelessly.
