Cisco 140AC and Google Home Mini/Chromecast strange behaviour

Hello everyone,
for the past few months I have been experiencing problems using some Google devices connnected to a Cisco 140AC access point.
Specifically, the problems concern:

1) Google Home Mini: the device connects smoothly to the AP, plays audio content via Google Cast without any issue, but if I try to ask a question, whatever it is, the device responds "mmmh something went wrong," or similar phrases. If I restart the device, it answers the questions for about a minute, and then the problem recurs.

2) Chromecast with Google TV: the device works smoothly (it even responds to voice questions, which the Mini does not), but if I try to download a system update (which is detected as available), the download never starts.

Note that if I connect both devices to another access point, both work without any problem.

I have several other Google/Android devices (smartphones, tablets and Android TVs) connected to the same AP that work like a charm.

Can anyone direct me with troubleshooting? I have been struggling with this since September.
