Mount WAP 561 Drop Ceiling

I need to mount my WAP 561 to a drop ceiling with recessed ceiling tiles. The provided mounting bracket would work for a dry-wall ceiling, but not for a drop ceiling.

Any suggestions or tips on doing an attractive install?

First thing that comes to mind is put a thin layer of sheet metal behind the drop down and bolt the supplied bracket to that through the drop-down tile. Then mount the WAP561 as normal.

Te thin layer of sheet metal should give enough added strength to support the WAP561 and bracket. You could do this as a wide piece side to side and bolt to that through the drop down or as two strips place appropriately for the holes of the WAP561 bracket. 

Just a quick thought. If you like I could draw something up.

Check your favorite online vendor for toggle bolts. That's what we used to mount ours.
