WAP4410N - PID VID: WAP4410N-A V02 firmware 2.0.7.4

I have 4 of these access points in a small office building. 2 on the first floor and 2 on the 2nd floor using POE

All 4 share the same SSID, auto channel selected, using WPA2 encryption. AP mode is set as default.

My issue is the following:

My Users and guest are getting "limited access" when they try to connect to the WAP( weather first or 2nd floor)so the access point is having issues forwarding the DHCP packets. In some cases the SSID profile is already established with our existing users. I have looked at DHCP (which comes from server) and we have many available addresses. The only remedy I have right now is to reboot the WAP one, or 2 at a time (by floor), then the user finally connects to the WAP without further assistance. The after a day or so the same thing happens over and over. In a week I probably reboot these access points at least 10 - 15 times. These WAPS are no longer supported by tech support. So I am hoping for someone to have some insight on these devices before I have them replaced

Hello,

What address do the clients end up with once they are connected?  Limited connectivity doesn't always mean DHCP isn't working, it can also be an issue getting past the router, where you have local LAN access but not access out to the internet.

I would also suggest enabling the logging settings on the WAP and taking a look at those logs before you reboot the device (most log messages get cleared on reboot).

Thank you for choosing Cisco,
