1552e POE and fiber

Can I power a 1552e AP with poe from the proper injector if I am using a fiber backhaul? What if I am using the AP in mesh mode? My power sources are not very close to where my APs will be mounted, so I want to use poe over cat5e which should have a 300' range.

As long as the AP1552E is in bridge mode, the PoE will power the AP but still use Fiber as its backhaul.  The downside is that it can increase the mesh convergence time and CAPWAP join time because the AP might try to join a WLC across the PoE port first.
