1702 AP POE per port

Hi,

I want to clear something out, I'm proposing a AIR-CAP1702I-E-K9. I'll be using the WS-C2960X-24PD-L switch which can give 15.4 Watts per port.

It says in 1702 AP datasheet(http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/aironet-1700-series/datasheet-c78-732347.html) that the input power is 15W but under the power options it gives me 802.3at PoE+ or Enhanced PoE , not 802.3af.

Will this switch draw enough power for the AP? it should as the AP requires 15W, but the power options is saying otherwise.

interestingly in this link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/wireless/buyers-guide.html#indoorac it says under power that it will support 802.3af which supports 15.4

Which one is right ?

Thanks

2960X can support up to 30w PoE.  It all depends on the "power budget" of the switch.

Power Budget is 370W, meaning it would support 30 watts on 12 ports max.

Thanks

That's correct.
