Hi,
i go through wlc menu best practice and see option for disable data rates. From there notes The 2.4Ghz Data Rates of 1, 2, 5.5 Mbps should be disabled and 11 Mbps set to not mandatory for better performance.
Default 2.4ghz data rates:
1 mandatory
2 mandatory
5.5 mandatory
6 supported
9 supported
11 mandatory
12 supported
is this correct after modified:
1 disable
2 disable
5.5 disable
6 mandatory
9 disable
11 supported
12 mandatory

11 supported I would leave this disabled if I don't have to support any legacy devices (802.11b)
12 mandatory

802.11g devices will be supported. All rates below the Mandatory rate should be disabled, so set 12 mandatory.

In my 2.4 Ghz & 5.0 Ghz deployment, I have 1- to 11 Mbps disabled, 18-, 36- and 54 Mbps set to Mandatory.
We also made a network-wide policy that any wireless client that do not adhere to this settings will not be allowed -- And we have told several business units that we are no longer "bending over backwards".

our issue is coverage, can't reduce data rates too much
