7500 flexconnect license issues

Helle Cisco Support Community.

Ive run into a bit of a problem here.

We have two Cisco 7500 series flexconnect controllers on our lan, and both are in the dire need of more licenses, as our wireless is growing rapidly.

Ive purchased and received new licenses for both controllers. both the controllers are running 7.5.102.0.

Oddly if i read the configuration guide for 7.5, it states:

Choose

Management

>

Software                         Activation

>

Commands

to open the License Commands page.

Well sadly, there is no commands tab under software activation.

Any ideas?

Attempting to add licenses under cli failed also, there is no licens intall command available..

Hi Kim,

To install the license using the web GUI, choose:

Management > Software Activation > Commands > Action: Install License

To install the license using the CLI, enter this command:

license install tftp://ipaddress /path /extracted-file

already tried both, the commands option under software activation is missing and the license install command doesnt work either.

Tho could it be because cisco has moved to RTU licensing?
