Hello
probably a beginner's question but how can the 8510 controller support 6000 APs in centralized mode when it only has 10Gbps while the 5520 supports 1500 Aps only and has 20 Gbps ?

This table shows the Cisco high-scale Controllers comparison at a glance:
coming to the 8510 controller it has 2 Connectivity(2*10g) ports which is equal to 20g so it can support that it can support 6000 APs.

my point is 2x10g = 20Gbps this should be the max throughput of the device not 10Gbps
also another point how can a controller supporting 6000 APs and 64k clients with only 10 or even 20 Gbps ?
