9130 ME, create wlan and let 2 9120AP's join

Hello I hope someone has a few moments to help.

I have installed a C9130AXI-E with Mobility Express "C9800-AP-universalk9.17.03.03",. Because this is a 9130 I have, during installation, uploaded C9800-AP-iosxe-wlc.bin and ap1g6a. "ap1g6a" is for C9124 and C9130.

I would like to let one C9120AXI-E join this controller but for that I need to upload ap1g7 to the controller.

I get confused on how to do this. Everywhere on the web, and even Cisco explains how to do this with the old GUI.

The other problem I have is that I have created a WLAN policy, I have created a WLAN (NOT HIDDEN), but my laptop, nore my iPhone or other clients can connect.

In the Web GUI SSID looks as it is up and running.

Hope that someone can help, a lot has changed in the new GUI. Used to 5520 WLC.

In advance thank You.

balaji.bandi Thank you for your answer, I have now joined the 9120. Thank You.

Please could you please link to how to make a working SSID on an EWC. As stated above, I have enabeld a policy, I have created an SSID connected to a profile and allthough it looks OK, I cannot see SSID on my devices nore connect.

My suggestion was Mobility express was old, so I was suggesting 9130 act as EWC and 9120 join as a client.

how is your AP onboarding process you doing? DHCP Option 43, or DNS  or manual config ?

connect the console to AP boo and post here, what is the error you getting while joining.
