9800-cl deploy on AWS using transit gateway

I have a question about 9800-cl WLC deployed on AWS.

In the document, for the VPC that the WLC will reside, it only mentioned that create virtual private gateway and customer gateway, then create site-to-site vpn for each site.

If the customer already had transit gateway created within AWS, can I just use that transit gateway to provide vpn access for all the sites to the AWS which will allow AP to join the WLC?

 - Presumably this will work : verify for instance by trying to ping the AWS controller from the AP subnet(s) on the sites where APs need to join the AWS based controller ,
