I've followed Cisco documentation, but client does not attempt to redirect to CWA on Clearpass. I can access the ClearPass portal manually. I have a case open with Aruba, but wanted to see if there's something I'm missing on the WLC9800 side.

The issue was with the redirect ACL. Redirection is working now.

Are you using a DNS resolved FQDN for the portal with a public certificate (trusted by devices) which exactly matches the FQDN?

As long as it's a trusted public certificate and matches the FQDN it should work.
