If the bvi interface is up/up, then the Ethernet port is working. You might have another issue.

yes the bvi interface is up/up, but not blinking even by the computer side, so what could be the problem, i could not connect to the ap, i just accessed using console port.

Was this ap working before?  Your not connecting directly to the ap are you?  Try to replace the Ethernet cable, connect it to a different port on the switch and when looking at the console output, find out if the ap is getting an IP address. We need more info here, so post the output if you can  some info that would be nice is boot up the access point and capture the output while the AP is connected to the network.  Paste this in a text file and attach it.  Don't paste it in the post.  Also these commands from the console (CLI):

show version

show ip interface brief

show inventory

Please these are the internal configuration of the AP, show version, show ip interface brief and show inventory, i have changed the ethernet cable, for some time the BIV interface waits up and immediately it goes down even i could not connect to my pc to configure it using GUI, could it be hardware problem of the port ? the ap was working nicely before for about three months.

How are you powering up the AP?

Post the output to the command "sh interface G0".

It was powering up using power injector.

and here is the sh interface go

GigabitEthernet0 is up, line protocol is down

GigabitEthernet0 is up, line protocol is down

Layer 1 is UP.  Layer 2, however, is DOWN.  So what's your configuration?

This could either be a configuration issue or a cable issue.  Is there a switch connected to the AP?

ya there was switch connected to it. the cable is proper too, but now it is up then later it changes to down, even the bvi1 becomes up, but never connected to the PC, what could be the problem ? it was working fine, i have three ap with this case, please help

To be honest, the problem can be with the AP itself. The AP can be going bad and will need to be replaced. If you have a support contract, you can open a TAC case and see if you can get an RMA.  I don't know if that model is end of support already or not.

Have you you tried to swap injectors with a access point that it is working?  I just had an injector I was using go bad, not the AP.

Now it is working, the only problem is the gigabitethernet maximum speed became 10mb/s, when i change it to 100 or 1000 it shuts down the port immediately, so what is your suggestion, please say sth soon

the cable is proper too

How confident are you?

If you have the 2nd pair of pins faulty on a cable, you'll get Layer 1 UP but Layer 2 DOWN.  Exactly what is the model of the switch?

It it is dlink switch, not even the switch i could not even connect to my computer, there is no signal detecting at all.

I stand by my suspicion it's a cable issue.  Otherwise, get the AP RMA-ed.

Alternatively, you can connect your D-Link switch to your laptop/PC and see if you can get a valid link light.  If not, then it's a cable issue.
