ACCESS POINT WHICH CAN BE TURNED OFF ON DEMAND

I'm looking to buy a new access point which can be turned on automatically at 8am everyday and shut off at 5pm on weekdays. Any suggestions on which Access Point should I Buy?

You should look at Meraki if you want to disable enable SSID’s at specific times.

Depends on the Cisco switch. Time-based ACL can be enabled to turn the VLAN on/off.
Another option is to use EnergyWise which can turn the PoE of the port on/off on a time schedule.

If you have a Cisco Prime, you can schedule 2 jobs (enable/disable) WLAN.

It is under Configuration>Templates>Features&Technologies>Controller>WLAN
