adding an etherchannel on the wlc 3504 HA pair

Hello for everybody.

There is one site with core swicth 2960 and two wlc 3504 HA (see attach - 2 picture pdf). It is currently planned to replace the current core switch with a stack of two 9300 switches (see attach - 1 picture pdf).

Is it possible to connect each of the controllers to each of the switches with a separate link and select on the main wlc "enable lag on next reboot"?  Or we need to disassemble this HA, then configure each of the controllers separately and reassemble HA again.

I believe LAG needs to be defined before you define SSO.  So you would have to break SSO and setup each controller for LAG and reboot, then enable SSO.

Thank you for answer.

I'm strongly inclined to this point of view - disassemble current HA, configure each of the controllers separately - create etherchannel, and reassemble HA.

Unfortunately, there are no free controllers to test this solution in the lab...

Take a look at this thread: https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless/support-for-lag-on-two-5520-s-in-ha/td-p/2872891
